By his mother, Joyce Kemp, Byron Davis jr started in the humble beginnings of a small town. Dealing with a half-present father, Byron and his younger brother Chance Davis were like any other kids; school, sports,(5x State Champion on a major level in baseball) video games, etc, but eventually learned the in and outs of “jumping off the porch”.
Not long after graduating from Mexico High School and having his first son, Miles Davis, at 20 years old (on his first birthday was the exact day he went to court and jail for the first time ever in life), he decided to start taking his music career seriously.
Not long after going to jail for the first time in 2010, Byron moved to Columbia, Mo with his then good friend and manager “Jokiddo” and started his journey towards finding his voice in Hip Hop. He would go on to record about 50 songs in the summer of 2011 and start performing small gigs around the area.(Those old songs are still available, go to YouTube and type in “June bug – Musical Intercourse”)
