A catchy melodic beat with a soft-spoken tone of voice along with lyricism will draw any listener in. Some of the things we appreciate the most about this track is how he is so laid back with the hook but at the same time dropping hints for his listeners, the verse starts off aggressive and lyrical as per his one of a kind style, incorporating his longtime girlfriend as ‘Mrs. 732’ after his self-founded label; 732AM Music. We’re sorry ladies he is taken (LOL) and he makes this clear throughout this song and throughout his past works. That makes no difference as this song is still a fan favorite and has been played thousands of times throughout every streaming platform building its momentum. Punchlines, wordplay and aggressiveness shows that he is a very well-rounded artist but is still discovering himself.
J-Killa has been exploring this sound in a lot of his recent works and we are not disappointed. Every drop brings something new to the table and something that is very rare that we notice is that he has a 0% usage of profanity in his writings and never degrades women. This has become an issue to some in the Hip-Hop community but it’s safe to say it’s not something we think we will ever witness from this artist. A recent snippet of a track titled ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ with a portrait of his girlfriend along with the headline ‘BeLoved 2’ was spotted on his Snapchat recently, this has us raising our eyebrows as to what could potentially be the next album release and 2nd installment of the previous ‘BeLoved’ album he dropped back in 2020.
