HOGY DE OSO

From independent music ownership to nationwide touring and future business ventures, Hogy De Oso is working to turn his artistic vision into something that lasts.

For Hogy De Oso, success means more than releasing music or gaining recognition. The Pueblo, Colorado, artist is building toward a future that includes business ownership, nationwide performances, merchandise, creative ventures, and a brand capable of growing beyond his own career.

At the center of that vision are HDO Entertainment and !LL~L€GiT. Hogy wants these identities to represent more than music, developing into a recognizable movement that connects with people through creativity, culture, and a shared ambition to build something meaningful.

He believes hip-hop needs more relatable music, distinctive sounds, and artists willing to create outside established formulas. His goal is to contribute to that change while establishing his own place in the industry.

Over the next year, Hogy wants to collaborate with more artists, increase merchandise sales, expand his professional network, and secure more performances across the United States. Touring would allow him to introduce his music to new audiences while building a stronger foundation for his business.

Looking five years ahead, he envisions a new home, new cars, greater recognition, and opportunities to work with artists he admires, including Wiz Khalifa. An album with RZA is another major ambition, reflecting the influence Wu-Tang has had on his creative and entrepreneurial mindset.

One of his biggest goals is to earn gold and platinum plaques and build a hallway filled with recognition for his music. Although he has not yet achieved the plaques or placements he wants, he remains determined to make those milestones part of his future.

Independence is central to that ambition. Hogy places tremendous value on owning his masters, retaining his royalties, and controlling his musical direction. Inspired by independent artists such as the late Young Dolph, he wants to build a business in which he maintains ownership rather than depending entirely on a record label.

That philosophy extends into his creative process. By producing and engineering his own music, he maintains greater control over his sound. Still, he recognizes that growing the business will require additional support, including booking representation, tour management, and more production and engineering help.

He already has management and marketing support, and he wants to expand that team as opportunities increase.

His entrepreneurial interests also extend beyond the recording studio. Hogy hopes to explore clothing, footwear, and filmmaking, including directing his own movies. These ventures reflect his belief that music can become the foundation for a broader business.

He sees established brands such as Taylor Gang and the Wu-Tang Clan as examples of how an artistic identity can evolve into something culturally significant. His goal is to build HDO into a name that people recognize and connect with long after individual releases come and go.

One of his proudest accomplishments so far has been establishing his business as an LLC and creating a legitimate foundation for future growth. He also points to sold-out shows and opportunities to work with other artists as important moments in his journey.

For Hogy, the bigger picture is about more than personal success. His daughter is a major motivation behind his desire to create financial security and build something that can benefit his family for generations.

He wants his legacy to include music that people continue to appreciate, a business that can grow beyond him, and a community that feels connected to the movement.

When imagining how people might describe his career years from now, his answer is simple: he wants people to say that Hogy made something happen.

His goals are ambitious, but his focus remains on building the foundation required to pursue them. Through ownership, creative independence, and a commitment to expanding HDO, Hogy De Oso is working toward a future in which his name represents more than an individual artist.

For him, the ultimate achievement would be creating something that lasts: a movement that brings people together, provides for his family, and leaves a meaningful mark on hip-hop.
