Most recently the brand relocated to LA, rumor has it, the Safe Plays Store Front will be located there 2021. Trap says “Safe Plays” will someday be bigger than Apple! She contributes the Brand to the older family that raised her who is no longer here to witness ALL she’s accomplished, barriers she’s broken and this amazing legacy that will be left behind. Safe Plays is an entity, backed behind the name has many concepts one being apparel. The “Safe Play” movement is the expression of effort of a greater well-being. The Dollar sign, $, represents the constraints of currency that were placed on making the certain decisions we make. “Safe” is not exposed to danger or risk. With the understanding that life, risk and danger will always be a part of our daily encounters. Within our daily routine we make the choices for our present time that in faith benefits our future. “Plays” is the activity of enjoyment that we choose to engage in. Inside the minority communities, Safe Plays is no longer apart of the developing generations, neither the supporting generations ahead of them. The reason being is because violence and poverty is the stereotypical belief put on African Americans and other minority descents, which lead to racial profiling and socioeconomic conflicts.
