Arahan Tashi Bhattacharjee – Professionally known as Prada Curse – is a Florida-born rapper, producer, and songwriter coming out of Vancouver, Canada. He first came under our radar last year when his song “THIS HOUSE DON’T FEEL LIKE HOME” was recommended to us. Being only seventeen years of age made us wonder what else this talented teen is capable of.
Prada has numerous writing credits, the most recent one being his placement with The Kid LAROI, making it his first breakthrough to the mainstream audience. “It’s definitely a crazy moment but I know there’s a lot more to come so I’m just mentally prepping myself for all that” he exclaims.
As we dove deeper into his discography, we found that throughout the years, Prada has been content to stay out of the spotlight. “I’ve been working on other people’s music for so long and not paying attention to my own,” he says. Since last year, Prada has composed the bulk of his debut project “1OF1” and is ready to show the world the message that he encapsulates through his music. “It’s more so an album about individuality. Being a 1of1 means that you’re the most authentic version of yourself; not caring about other people’s opinions”. Prada describes his upcoming project to have no adherence structure; instead, it’s a “sprawling, psychedelic collection of songs that play on encapsulating how I felt in certain moments throughout time” he exclaims. “I think my fans are going to be surprised and really enjoy these sounds I put together; it feels as if I’ve created a body of work that’s award-worthy and I’m proud of it”.
