Turning very popular among the American music lovers through his extraordinary creativity in the field of hip-hop, Marvylus today sails smoothly in the genre with a large number of fan-base who follow him regularly on social media platforms.
Named Marvin Moore in his naming ceremony after his birth, he adopted the stage-name Marvylus and became more famous by this marvelous brand. He now is rated as one of the top in the field of New Age Hip Hop Artistry.
Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 12th 1996, this 25-year-old hip-hop artist showed his musical instincts from the early age of 12 during his days in middle school. As the days passed, his talent further bloomed.
What may be termed as the beginning of the giant leap in the regime of rap music, Marvylus recorded his first solo at the age of 18. The recording was done at the basement of his friend’s home. It was liked by his family and peers.
Planning to undertake a series of tours in the second half of 2022, Marvylus plans to release his albums in the near future. Since he has already established himself as a popular rapper in America, his future numbers are bound to be success.
This is more so as his vast fan-base eagerly are waiting for such musical releases.
Though facing several odds in his early life, Marvylus never allowed them to shadow his musical talents. He pursued his musical career from the age of 12 when he was a mere boy. Inspired by Soulja Boy, the young prodigy made his first beat on the demo version of FL studio after watching YouTube tutorials about the subject.
At that time, he was studying in the 7th grade in school. Here, we find that music was his first choice of life. He had been living with music every day.
Here, the fact that he never allowed his days of downturn in his early life on his pursuit of music. To understand this, we have to look back at those days when he was a boy.
Marvylus was born in poverty to an African American father and a Caucasian mother. They separated before Marvylus was old enough to attend grade school, forcing the young artist to travel back and forth between Colorado and Illinois. This unstable upbringing was a gift and a curse, as it gave him the ability to adjust to ever changing environments, people and circumstances.
After years being in the system and living in and out of single mother homeless shelters, his mother, Jodie Raye Smith, died in 2010 due to an overdose of drugs when Marvylus was only 14-years old. This bereavement did not unnerve him in his pursuit of music. You can hear the pain and internal struggle Marvylus has about this harsh reality throughout his music.
In 2017, Marvylus joined the well-known hip-hop platform LoUd Life Crew. That was the making of a great rap artist like Marvylus. He appeared at various live shows in the US and performed exceedingly well to carve out a place for himself as a young, energetic rapper.
No wonder, Marvylus had been occupying his space in the list of promising young talent coming out of Colorado.
He, subsequently, went on to participate in performing at live events with such tatents as the late Young Dolph, Raekwon from Wu Tang Clan, Tech N9ne, YBN Nahmir, Soulja Boy, Shoreline Mafia and Smokepurpp just to name a few.
Marvylus recently produced and recorded the solo number “Spin Da Block” with LoUd Life Crew and Platinum Selling artist Kap G. Marvylus has also just concluded L.O.U.D. Tour with LoUd Life Crew. Undertaken in January, 2022, this trip included 10 cities.
Marvylus is undoubtedly becoming an icon of the culture and a Colorado rap legend. The youth of America like his music as it directly connects with them and matches with their mental wavelength.
