Hello Mr. Sly Mike, it is an absolute pleasure to talk to you. First of all congratulations on the success of your new track ‘Smorz’.
RW: What would you like to say about all these responses?
Sly Mike: Thank you for the compliments I appreciate you.
RW: How did you come up with the idea for the song?
Sly Mike: It was just something that had been on my mind, just wanted to talk my issh really.
RW: What has inspired you to make this soundtrack?
Sly Mike: Just getting somethings off my chest and let them folks know.
RW: Did you always want to be a musician?
Sly Mike: I have always loved music since I can remember, first it was r&b, rap, then some indie but overall I have always wanted to entertain really.
RW: What has encouraged you to make a career in music?
Sly Mike: Fam taking me to the studio because I started first making beats, so I just tried rapping and discovered a passion for it too.
RW: If you were not an artist, then what would you become?
Sly Mike: A actor, probably comedy or action. Even voice acting in things.
RW: You are an independent artist, how do you manage everything on your own?
Sly Mike: It’s something, but when you want something you do what you got to get it.
RW: What keeps you going to make music?
Sly Mike: I’ve never been a quitter at things I pursue and I just like doing what I like to do.
RW: Would you like to try out any different genre in your next creation?
Sly Mike: I’m not against experimenting with different genres in time.
RW: Are you working on any new projects right now?
Sly Mike: Yeah I am actually taking some time to record right after this interview.
RW: Are you planning any shows or concerts in the upcoming days?
Sly Mike: Not just yet, I feel like that’s coming soon since covid and stuff is calming back down.
RW: Do you like to give any message to your fans?
Sly Mike: Stay you, You are the main character of your story.
