SENSEI NOWA is an artist from the capital of Kentucky. Rapper/songwriter creating the conscious sound of rap and old school sound of R&B. His musical career started 2016 in the hands of Grammy Winning Producer BarNone. By 2017 when he was Co-signed by Popular Miami rapper NINO BROWN formerly signed by DJ KHALAD.
In 2019 he released his first 2 official singles “Kill The Game ft. Nino Brown” and “Straightforward” featuring BoneThugs-N-Harmony’s Artist Nova The Rebel.
Sensei has a distinct voice, and lyrics reminiscent of Meek Mill. Music Curators say “You don’t just hear his music (you feel it), so it’s no wonder the streets embrace him”.
Currently he works closely with industry executives from the Top labels nicknamed the (BIG 3) Universal music Group, Warner and Sony.
We asked him what advice he had for aspiring artists?
Sensei replied. “Money4artist.com! Most artists don’t know how to properly license and register their work, so get your paperwork right. Another thing is respecting the Dj”s. My buzz started when Coalition Dj’s Tennessee pressed play. Artists need to understand Dj’s are essential.
Nowa is touring throughout the country currently but looks forward to partnering with a bigger label in the near future to spread his message.
