Originally starting out with instruments, Nitobaby recalls a brief few years spent on the electric guitar. Ever since then, despite not always playing guitar, Nitobaby found himself unable to stop writing music, whether that was while playing sports, or continuing his studies in college. Getting additional encouragement from his friends didn’t hurt either, surrounding himself with simillar musicians or recording artists in the making. Despite life bringing its ups and downs, music was always an up; and a place for nitobaby to grow beyond whatever he was focusing on.

While there are many big name artists that Nitobaby could attribute his early influence and desires to make music, these names stand out the most: Eminem, J. Cole, Mac miller, 50 Cent, Felly, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Young Dolph, Chance The Rapper, Post Malone, etc. All artists described have influenced him over the years. In terms of growing his presence, both on and off-stage, Nitobaby would also ideally open for any of the above names. His openness and ability to not stick to one way of making music would make for a more unique opening act.

When asked to describe his overall sound, or asked about the inspiration behind his different projects, Nitobaby had this to say about the production process; he always tends to reflect his current state in the project(s) he records. No two are the same because of the mindset or emotion behind each release.

On the subject of album releases, Nitobaby was able to comment on his production value, as well as what it means for his fufure not only as a recording artist, but one that performs on tour. While there are no major tours currently planned, the artist tells his audience to “stay tuned,” with a smile.

Nitobaby has a strong opinion of the music industry, as well as how rap itself as changed as a genre. There’s not much substance in it, and a lot of it sounds the same. But in the time before that, and even since making music, he can definitely say he still looks up to certain artists still like Eminem, J. Cole, Mac miller, 50 Cent, Felly, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Young Dolph, Chance The Rapper, Post Malone, etc. All artists described have influenced Nitobaby over the years. Opening up for Wiz or Snoop would be a dream come true. For him, it’s about the artist as well as their fanbase.
