Hip Hop has been around for a while, but The Hated Crew is considerably improving the genre. A group of rap fans from across the country are redefining what it means to be a hip hop artist in the present. And they’re doing it with humour, a tonne of talent, and a desire to change the world for the better.
DJ Zig Zag is the mastermind behind The Hated Crew. He brings his expertise from his previous work as a popular radio DJ in Denver, Colorado, and he’s joined by Golden The Prophet, Rocci, Mr. Exile, JDOTBROWN, Solo From Da Heights, Hit Man Da Hitmaker, and Trazae Clinton. Each member offers something unique, and when they come together, their music is pure magic.
Although “End Of Days,” their most recent album, is all about disobedience and moral outrage, it is delivered with the fervour of a full-on party banger. That would be the perfect ambiance for either a quiet night out or a revolution. The Hated Crew, however, is more than just a collection of gifted musicians. They give hope to the underrepresented and act as a voice for the voiceless. Only the best musicians are able to address society’s darker side in the manner that their music does. And they’re doing it with panache, attitude, and a hilarious sense of humor.
So, can music actually put a halt to authoritarianism? The Hated crew wants to show that it can and is on a mission to do so. With their widespread influence and partnerships with A-List Producers, they are reaching a wide audience with their message. And it’s a message that’s getting through to people all over the nation.
Lastly, The Hated Crew is releasing a new single on April 14th called “DUMB.” Make sure to give it a listen and support these incredible artists as they revolutionize the hip hop industry and spread their positive message. With their new album and their upcoming podcast, THC Radio Hour, they’re proving that there’s still hope for the genre. And they’re doing it all with a sense of humor and a whole lot of talent.
