As with most WayneFowler Projects he uses his emotions and life experiences as an invitation into his creativity. He seems to tap into the things that make him the most uncomfortable to find comfort. As you listen to his Latest release I Wish You Well he has this uncanny ability to make it all sound so cool. The beat selection is very pleasing. The tone at which he delivers his lyrics is the perfect match. It’s hard to believe that this article is one of a few that he has had in his music career. The project begins with Open Skies… “I ain’t gotta dim my light to brighten yours” WayneFowler sets the tone immediately with well written lyrics that leave the listener wanting to continue through the project.
The entire release is phenomenal but I do have favorites The Fowler Name & Vine St Apartment are the two stands outs for me. The records have a strong significance on the project. The Fowler name is dedicated to his son and Vine St. Apartment is tied in to the passing of his Aunt. Family is extremely important to WayneFowler. He states that moment his aunt passed and the emotion behind it is the main reason the project was created.
6 records of pure emotion not overbearing yelling in your face emotion but in fact revelation. A cool intelligent conversation between himself and you the listener. I Wish You Well a way to let everyone know you’re in your lane flourishing and proud of everyone finding success in theirs.
